It's about pride in home ownership. A major element of the Florida Real Estate Foundation is helping Central Florida families realize the dream of home ownership through Art in Architecture, a program that provides affordable and attractive housing in Central Florida.
Art in Architecture brings together the area's best architects, builders, interior designers, lenders, and government assistance programs, to offer qualified buyers homes that are affordable, yet attractive. Homes that anyone will be proud to call their own. Through the Foundation, Art in Architecture purchases property, or acquires property as a contribution, and designs single family homes or townhomes.
The architecturally aesthetic homes are specious with state-of-the-art amenities that are usually found only in houses at a much higher selling price. In some Florida counties, first responders, including firemen, paramedics and police officers cannot afford to line in the counties they serve. In order to sustain vibrant economies, housing must be affordable for the local workforce. With Art in Architecture, it can be.
